N08825/Incoloy Alloy 825/NS142/NiCr21Mo/2.4858/NCF 825 Incoloy Alloy Bar For Power Generation
Incoloy 825 (N08825, 2.4858, NiCr21Mo) is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with added molybdenum, copper, and titanium, offering excellent corrosion resistance in harsh environments. It is highly resistant to oxidizing and reducing acids, pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Commonly used in chemical processing, marine, and nuclear industries, Incoloy 825 maintains strength and stability in extreme temperatures up to 540°C (1000°F). It is also weldable and easy to fabricate. The alloy’s high nickel content ensures resistance to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking, while molybdenum enhances its protection against localized corrosion. Available in bars, rods, and other forms, Incoloy 825 is widely used in heat exchangers, piping, and marine applications requiring superior corrosion resistance.

Incoloy 825 (N08825 / NS142 / NiCr21Mo / 2.4858 / NCF 825) is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with significant additions of molybdenum, copper, and titanium. It is designed for excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in aggressive environments.
Resistant to general corrosion, pitting, and crevice corrosion in both oxidizing and reducing environments.
Excellent resistance to sulfuric and phosphoric acids.
Performs well in chloride-containing environments, preventing stress corrosion cracking.
Maintains mechanical strength at elevated temperatures up to around 540°C (1000°F).
Suitable for applications in heat exchangers, chemical processing, and nuclear fuel reprocessing.
High tensile strength and toughness.
Maintains ductility and impact resistance even in harsh conditions.
Easily welded using standard welding techniques (GTAW, GMAW, SMAW).
Can be hot and cold worked without significant loss of properties.
Nickel (38-46%) ensures corrosion resistance and enhances stress corrosion cracking resistance.
Chromium (~19.5-23.5%) improves oxidation and pitting resistance.
Molybdenum (~2.5-3.5%) and Copper (~1.5-3%) enhance resistance to reducing acids.
Titanium (0.6-1.2%) stabilizes the alloy against sensitization.
Incoloy Alloy 825 (also known as N08825, NS142, NiCr21Mo, 2.4858, and NCF 825) is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with significant additions of molybdenum, copper, and titanium. It offers excellent resistance to corrosion, oxidation, and high-temperature environments, making it ideal for a variety of industrial applications.
